Innovating Urban Water Security in Namibia
The Innovate-4-Water Project is a pioneering research and innovation initiative led by the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), tackling urban water security in Namibia through a blend of technological, infrastructural, and governance solutions. Supported by the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) and National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST), the project leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and climate-resilient infrastructure designs to address critical water challenges in cities like Rundu, Ongwediva, and Windhoek.
